Online news:
The exchange of fire between Thai and Cambodian troops along the border of Surin province restarted on Saturday morning, reports said.
Si Phachuea, village headman of Ban Nong Kanna in Suring Phanom Dong Rak district, about five kilometer from the Thai-Cambodian border, said Cambodian soldiers started firing at Thai troops with heavy weapons and machineguns about 6am.
He and his villagers had to rush to bunkers in the village for safety.
Army spokesman Col Sansern Kaewkamnerd said on Saturday that the latest border clash erupted at Ta Kwai and Ta Muen temples in Phanom Dong Rak, the same point where the gunfight took place on Friday morning.
There is no report on casualties and injury for the moment, he said.
